Let’s face it—the name "We Came From Space" sounds like a grade B sci-fi flick from the ‘50s.Or a cheap comic book about strange aliens zapping Earth with cosmic death rays. There’s no way it could be a progressive-rock band.Could it?
Well, yes, that’s exactly what it is – and a surprisingly one.
The unit came about six years ago when high school buds Bill Hubauer (The Neal Morse Band) and Dave Buzard reconnected and decided to make music. The result was a 2013 album called "How To Be Human", which, for the most part, came and went without a lot of fanfare. The band did few gigs to push the release, and Hubauer had yet to make a big name for himself with Neal Morse. The founders planned on a second album, almost as soon as the first one came out.But for a variety of reasons, it took five years for the sophomore effort to blast off.
"While You Were Away" is a rocket headed toward the stratosphere and beyond.Wonderful (and I must say unexpected) prog-rock album containing some of the most addictive melodies I've heard in a while.

Anubis
Anubis, the cinematic Progressive Rock band from Sydney, Australiahas hails with their latest release "Different Stories".
These new versions are complete reinterpretations of seven popular Anubis tracks, performed mostly on acoustic instruments, some being instruments we’d never normally dream of using. Absent - for the time being - are the electric guitars, the overdriven B3, the pounding drums, the rickenbacker bass, the synthesizers and the ubiquitous mellotron.

Talitha Rise
Music is what makes my life complete, it fills the holes and spaces in time and I honestly couldn’t be without it.
Some music is so compelling that it can take over your life, pausing you in a moment in time, not caring or worrying about anything else and the elfin, ethereal vocals of Talitha Rise (better known as Jo Beth Young) definitely belong in that category.
Following on from the beautiful EP ‘Blue’, Jo has released her debut full length album "An Abandoned Orchid House" on June 1st 2018.
It is a release full of captivating, wistful songs wound around themes of isolation and abandonment. Jo Beth Young has a sublime and refined voice that has a haunting aura and reminds me of an early Kate Bush or Tori Amos and it is her most potent weapon. When added to the intelligent, captivating lyrics it gives wonderful songs. ‘An Abandoned Orchid House’ was recorded in many locations from living rooms and kitchen tables in Devon to a beautiful manor house in Sussex.

Flav Martin & Jerry Marotta
World renowned drummer Jerry Marotta has performed with Paul McCartney, Hall & Oats, The Indigo Girls, Sarah MacLachlan, and John Mayer to name but a few plus a decade of performing and recording with Peter Gabriel.
Credited as one of the most innovative acoustic guitar players on the scene, Flav Martin blends beautiful melodies with intricate technique, voicing, and a percussive style.
Soul Redemption is the debut release from singer/song writer Flav Martin and drummer Jerry Marotta. The duo harmoniously blends modern adult rock with traditional world pop. Whether performed in a cafe in Italy or on the polo fields of Indio, these songs would feel comfortably at home in either environment.
Innovative acoustic guitarist Flav Martin teamed up with long time friend Jerry Marotta to deliver a solid album that showcases Flav’s strength as a singer-songwriter and vocalist. Seven of the nine songs on Soul Redemption were penned by Flav. Standout tracks are “Soul Redemption“, “Please” and the infectious “Rio De Janiero“. The traditional Italian ballad “Coffee Song (Cosa Hai Messo Nel Caffè)” captures Flav and Jerry’s Italian roots.
Fans of Peter Gabriel will delight as Jerry Marotta and Tony Levin (bass), the rhythm section of his classic line-up, reunite for the backbone of this album. Also backing up the duo are their long time friends Peter Primamore (piano), Thor Jensen (guitar), Marc Shulman (guitar), and Gary Schreiner (harmonica/accordion).

Cell15

From the first recoil of the complex kit's snare drum, followed by locomotive-strength symphonic keys, listeners are propelled like shot in a sling into Cell15's powerful breakthrough debut album, "Chapter One." This is a driving progressive rock concept album that's befitting of the most-capable, well-powered sound system. Cell15's Chapter One album goes beyond masterful poly-rhythmic drums, full-bodied keyboards and driving bass, though. It's one hell of a story that portrays a dark life, capture and prison time, followed by twists of realization, understanding and an epic light show conclusion that begs for cathedral acoustics. Listeners are strapped into this soulfully sung script that was penned over a 20-year timeframe. Arranged and performed by veteran music artist Robert Richardson, Cell15 will remind listeners of Transatlantic, Genesis and IQ, but its classic rock influences and meaningful vocals would also entice any Kansas or Queen fan.
Now they returned with their second album "River Utopia".

Sweet Crystal
Sweet Crystal is a very rare group of musicians. Not only has the band remained in existence for over 4 decades, but also the core trio of Marq Speck (lead vocals, keyboards), Bill Blatter (guitar, vocals) and Steve Wieser (drums) has remained intact for the entirety of that time. That’s a lifetime of quality hard, progressive rock music; of honing their skills as musicians and artists and generating a respectable fan base. Perhaps most importantly, a continuing quest refining their sound and standing on the front lines of the Michigan Christian rock scene, even before that particular branch of music had a name.
"Got Your Six" is their latest 2018 release.
